Sorry, not been in touch for months as have been very ill. Not allowed to drink so have not posted critics. Have still been odering for my husband.. I know all his favorites-Manley Pinotage,lorca angels reserve, small and small, arabellas [all] villebois. We share the same favorites and I love to see the boxes arriving. Just wish I could taste them.

Chenin Blanc vineyard! We make this wine with all the attention we usually give to our Prestige range: hand picked, barrel fermented, aged for 2 years in oak barrels. Light filtration before bottling into a heavy dark bottle.
It is now a perfect moment to drink it! You’ll love its intensity and palate AND enjoy the refreshing Loire acidity! Should also appeal to all the South African Chenin Blanc fans!

Very disappointed as we kept this from the first early booking of the Barossa Bad Boys for a special occasion. The hype was massive but I think our wine must have been off. From the metallic smell to the sharp, bitter taste it did not improve even on the nest day. In fact I managed half a small glass and a few sips the next day. My husband the same. I know N.W.would not be selling this and not at 23.99 unless it was really something and am letting you know that this review is from a bottle of wine that was just not right.

Sold OutSold out - Try this instead:Blackwood Ridge Shiraz 2008Loved this wine which we first got in a mystery mixed pack and ordered in our next order. Cannot say better than that. Very drinkable, full fruity taste with a long after taste.

An unbelievable blood red on pouring (been watching far too much CSI)
A deep, rich nose of tobacco, mint and black fruit.
Nicely concentrated black fruit gives a firm, rounded mouthful. A bit of spice gives a good long, balanced finish.
An excellent wine that partnered a rib of buffalo wonderfully.
It's wines like this that remind me that with Cabernet Sauvignon, unlike Shiraz, you really need to spend a over a tenner to get a good example. (Any suggestions to prove me wrong appreciated)
