What a delicious wine, very dark in colour and with an incredible depth and intensity of flavour. I have in the past regarded this variety as "Malbec's younger brother" but no longer, it has certainly come of age. Looks like the Bonarda producers have really nailed it. Keep up the good work, and I will keep exercising my Elbow.

I reviewed this wine a few months ago and gave it quite a luke warm response. Since then I have tried two more bottles and have dediced I must have been crazy before. I think I was looking for something big and heavy which this isn't. Its soft and smooth but in no way boring. I think this will become a rgeular now in my house.
