Forgotten i had a bottle left of this cracking old world SV. I had a particularly hard day at work ( some might say that’s a first) Got home and rummaged through the cellar for a white to go with the left over Christmas turkey curry (7 mins full power). I found it lurking behind my bo peep costume, recently dry cleaned.
Must say it is a refreshing change to sample a Northern Hemisphere SV as now a days we are bombarded with new world fruit bombs. This is a classic subtle wine, slightly steely with grassy notes. Goes well with most light flavoured food and heaver dishes as well. And as a footnote Pringles BBQ crisps. Shame sold out but looking forward to the new vintage.

A superior Sauvignon Blancs out there - I'm not very much into wines from the Loire region but this one - as compared to the ordinary one from the supermarket shelf - is a real beauty !

Lovely wine we had it with a lovely Fish meal I did with Garlic, Rosemary and Lemon. It was a perfect accompliment
