Comment on: Castillo de Tafalla Tinto 2008

I was not so impressed by this wine, while being robust in character it lacked the 'drinkability' I have found in the wines I have tasted so far. I would not totally write it off as it went down without to much effort. This wine would probably be ideal to accompany game like venison or jugged hare.

Comment on: Castillo de Tafalla Rosado 2008

A very impressive and satisfactory rose'. Ideal with light foods and superb by itself, serve chilled. Has a appealing, refreshing fruity after taste with hints of black cherry and red currant. The quality you would expect from a wine twice the price.

Comment on: Milani Montepulciano d’Abruzzo 2008

A great wine to open when friends call unexpectedly. Quite delicate for a red, light fruity bouquet with a gentle fruits of the forest after taste. Would be good with most soups and if you did not want beer with your ploughman's lunch then this wine would be a great alternative.
