After a beautiful Autumn in the Minervois, with very mild temperatures, Winter has finally arrived and we’ve even had some snow! It’s the quiet time for the vineyards, but they are all getting their haircut! – pruning is underway which mean that it’s that time of year, Christmas. If you see colourful people dressed up for skiing in the vineyard – that’s our pruners, braving the chilly air!

Kat and I send our best to you for Christmas and the New Year. And thank you for all your support and feedback in 2011, the good and the bad (it all helps to make better wine!) and a big Joyeux Noel to you.

Wow! That was something! The votes right to the end were so close it was incredible. We are very excited here in the Languedoc to see the news! Being nominated next to Stephen and Jock was already like a great compliment, and I'm amazed at the results.

A big thank you to everyone who voted for me and supported me - it has made all the difference. Also big thank yous to the Naked team, Kat my wife which has been a great support and Simon and Frankie that I want to mention for their great help on posts bombarding the site!

It has been a fabulous year this year with you all guys. Merci beaucoup!!

Hi,

It's back to work in the Minervois after a great weekend of tastings in Norwich and London.

Once again it was great fun and thanks to everyone at Naked for making it a great weekend. And a big thank you to you all for coming out to meet us and try the wine! The tastings went well and it's brilliant to meet you guys!

It's always helpful having your comments online, but meeting you in person and talking about the wines while trying them is even better.

It's also great getting to hang out and talk with other winemakers for a few days, like Carlos and Ryan!

Merci to everyone and here's to next year's tastings.
