What's this about?

The fastest way for us to help you find the wines you'll love (and avoid the wines you won't ) is for you to spend 30 seconds to tell us about your wine tastes. We use these answers, together with your wine ratings to build a detailed profile of your personal tastes. We match your taste profile to our wines taste profile to find the wines that match. Even if it's a grape you don't know, from a place you don't know, made by a person you have never heard of. For example, if you tell us that you like Rioja, we have an Argentinean Malbec that you will adore. And a Spanish Grenache that will blow your socks off.

Chalk Hill Redemption Chardonnay 2008
by Jock Harvey

Chalk Hill Redemption Chardonnay 2008
  • Made by one of our favourite Aussie winemakers Jock Harvey, who runs a family-run estate in the McLaren Vale
  • Our Archangel customers picked out two of his wines at our Angel's Den Tasting, and as he's such a popular lad, we ordered this tasty Chardonnay too!
  • Perfect for a hot summer's day, we're confident you'll be coming back for more!

A v.good refreshing wine. I was drinking this (much too easily) whilst cooking Sunday lunch. I have had Chardonnays in the past that have left a lingering after taste, but not with this wine.<br />Will certainly be buying again, and maybe trying to pair it with a meal, as opposed to waiting for the meal!!

Jock Harvey

"I grew up amongst the vines as a boy. I have several memories from when I was young...hand-picking grapes, loading grapes onto trailers, drinking constant supplies of Grenache juice, tasting the sweet pink juice that bubbled in the winery fermenters...the list continues. It's a fantastic career; an opportunity for adventure, hard work, good food and wine and meeting other wine lovers..."
