Not as good as other Montepulciano d'Abruzzo I have had, seems a little less fruit than I recall, but pleasant all the same. Went well with Pasta dishes (as it should).

I have just tried two bottles of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Rimaldi, both were thin and too acidic, also both threw quite a heavy sediment

This was, unfortunately, the only one from the recent case I didn't like - whilst Italian wines are often a bit tannic/hard going, and need matching with the right food etc, I found this one had too much acidity....a touch tart. There was nothing wrong with it, and it did improve an hour or so in....but won't be buying again.

Not as good as other Montepulciano d'Abruzzo I have had, seems a little less fruit than I reacll, but pleasant all the same. Went well with Pasta dishes (as it should).
