This is a great wine. Full of flavour, deep and fruity. Very very satisfying. Mouth-filling. More-ish. Great.

Not a big lover of red wine. Happily drink a glass with a really good steak. Every now and again I try a red just in case I miss out on something. So as a white wine buff, I tried this and was really surprised how fruity and yummy it was. Dare I mention that the next day I used a bit in my casserole. A famous chef once said never use a wine in cooking that you would not drink. So, that said, perfect for drinking and cooking. Still not totally comverted to red wine - Yet!

Rather green and leafy on the nose; maybe some woody notes and burnt tar, charred. Palate is surprisingly soft and approachable, mostly dark red fruit showing through; smooth, not tannic, slips through. Perhaps a simple wine, but still gives pleasure. Less clunky than when I had this last year.
