Guess what?....Another of my favorites!
Heady aromas and good deep flavours. Not as heavy as my usual favourites but just as enjoyable!
Reminds me to stock up on it.

Some wines I just don't get... this is one of them. <br /><br />After my last tasting, which was corked, my wine adviser assured me this is a supurb wine and I should give it another go. <br /><br />On opening the bottle the smell was heady and sharp, so I decanted it for a few hours. After 2 hours it started coming to life and I enjoyed a couple of glasses, however I left half of it until later in the evening (5 hrs) and it turned really acidic.<br /><br />A real disappointment for me, the Cristia Grenache is a superb wine and I had high hopes for the Cairanne.
