Not posted inthis group for a while but I increasing drink wine from Spain.

Last night I really enjoyed a ( Non Naked wines) drink and wondered which of the Naked Wines Spanish choices have a similar character.

The wine in question was Campo Viejo Rioja - Crianza 13½% 2008 - usually cost around £8 but sometimes discounted.

I found an absolute gem of a wine maker near Bullas in Murcia province over the summer, the Bodegas Madronal, their ' De La Familia', is a very full bodied (Monastrel 85%, Syrah 15%) full of fruit, blackberries with a plummy after taste. A really heady wine, that is the equivalence to a gran reserva. Well worth visit if you are in the area.

Hi all, I am new to this site and waiting for my first case of mostly Spanish wine to arrive.
I spend a lot of time in Fuerteventura, which isn't famed for it's wine but is for the quality of the cheese made on the island. What better combination than Spanish wine and the local cheeses ?
It would be nice to hear from anyone else that lives over there that has an interest in wine.
