Hello all,
Just on our wonderful honeymoon in the North of Spain and settled into our supercool Hotel Viura in the heart of La Rioja, whose architect may have had one or two glasses too many (have a look at the link, http://www.hotelviura.com/english/index.html)
I've booked a visit to the Ramon Bilbao vineyard, home of the wonderful NW Hacienda Don Hernan wines, for Wednesday, so will report back later!

Hi all, just discovered Castillo Catadau - its a GR Tempranillo -absolutely gorgeous fruity, creamy oak, vanilla and some spices - not at all heavy to drink and went done perfectly on a very warm evening BBQ. Priced £9.99 si with cashback makes it even better value - HIGHLY recommended, It has to be one of my faves. Let me know what you think

Gran Vedena gran reserva 2002, rioja,
This wine brings a soft but lively nose and a smooth delicate palate. You can hardly notice any oak, strange for a gren reserva, and the length could be improved.
