What are Tastings and how do they work?
Naked Wines hosts Wine Tastings throughout the UK. We don't hold these events to make money, but to help you find some hidden gems (and to help our winemakers find some appreciative, supportive customers!)
The winemakers will often provide the wines for free and the hosts are generally our Archangel customers who want to help the winemakers expand in the UK.
So if you're an Archangel customer and you're keen to host a Naked Wine Tasting in your home or local area, then tell people about it by creating a Tasting Event on our site!
Decide on the date and time, choose the location, pick out the friends you want to come along and spread the word!
You can create as many Naked Tastings as you like, and invite whoever you want i.e. other Naked Wines customers, your drinking buddies PLUS non-Naked Wine friends too.
How do I create a Tasting Event?
Easy. Go to the Tastings homepage and click on 'post an event'. You'll then be asked to enter details of the Tasting i.e. name of the Tasting, date, time, location, a description etc - and you can enter a map link too.
Once you've set-up all the details, the next step is to send out the invites. Click on the 'invite people' button and select the people you want to come along (and enter email addresses for any non-Naked Wines' customers you want to invite).
You write the wording of the invite, and we'll email it through to everyone on your list.
N.B. You have to be an Archangel customer to create a Tasting Event.
How do I get invited to a particular Tasting Event?
If you see a Tasting event you'd like to go to, visit the event homepage and click on 'request invite'. The host will then get an email letting them know you're keen to come along, and if they're happy for you to come, you'll receive an official invite!
Top Tip: To see if there are any tasting events in your area, you can enter your postcode into the 'Find a tasting' search on the Tastings homepage.
