What's this about?

The fastest way for us to help you find the wines you'll love (and avoid the wines you won't ) is for you to spend 30 seconds to tell us about your wine tastes. We use these answers, together with your wine ratings to build a detailed profile of your personal tastes. We match your taste profile to our wines taste profile to find the wines that match. Even if it's a grape you don't know, from a place you don't know, made by a person you have never heard of. For example, if you tell us that you like Rioja, we have an Argentinean Malbec that you will adore. And a Spanish Grenache that will blow your socks off.

Naked Wine Angels

What is an Angel?

Make a new friend, drink better wine, save money, and boast to your mates. What's not to like?

It costs money to sell wine to you. Your money.

If you are going to buy the wine anyway, the winemaker can save that money, share it with you and invest it in better wines.

It also takes time, the winemaker’s time. And frankly, they would much rather spend their time in the cellar and the vineyard, making better wines.

Does it really make a difference? Well think about this....

There is only 30p of wine in the average UK bottle of wine. And there is £1 of marketing, packaging and other crud you can't taste

If the winemaker gets another 20p, they can...

Pick the grapes by hand, so that only the best grapes make it into the wine. When you pick the cheap way, by machine, all the grapes, together with some twigs and leaves all goes in

Use natural yeasts, which give greater complexity. They take longer than factory made yeasts, but the wine tastes better

Ferment slowly, at nature's pace, so the wine can develop full potential

Move the wine by hand rather than by pump, to keep all the delicate aromas intact

See for yourself. Try 6 bottles for free

Should I be an Angel?

Well, if you drink more than one bottle of wine a month, and you like nice wine and you don't want to pay through the nose for it......er.......um.....YES! Go for it!

How do I sign up?

Go to the winemakers page

Those that are looking for Angels have a box like this.

Scroll through to find the winemaker(s) you like the sound of

Add to basket and check out as normal

6 free bottles of your chosen winemakers wine will be shipped to you immediately, and you'll get 33% CashBack back whenever you buy any more of their wine. Neat huh?

Also, they would be delighted to see you if you ever find yourself near their estate...

Can I support more than one winemaker?

Yes you can

In fact if you support 4, you get 33% CashBack on all of our wines

How do I cancel?

You can cancel at any time by calling us on 01603 281804

If you do cancel, you can use any money you have paid in to buy some of that winemaker’s wines. If you have decided that you don’t like them we will probably let you swap your money to another winemaker.

Am I committing to anything?

No. You can stop at any time. If you do, you won't have to pay another penny towards that winemaker. Also, as a Naked Angel, we will not send you wine automatically without you knowing. You decide what to order, and when to order

Can I scam the winemakers for free wine?

If you are that kind of person, yes you can. We hope you aren’t, because our winemakers are nice people, trying their hardest to do a good job for you
