Wines You Made Pack

You, our customers, made these wines possible. So love them to bits

Wines You Made Pack
  • A little bit like Ronseal, these wines are exactly what it says on the label. In other words, they are are wines that you, our wine angels, helped our wine makers to make through the Angel funding scheme.
  • The principle for those who are yet to become Angels is simple. You stash a little bit of money away each month. We group that together, and pick key wine makers (often those you guys have chosen) to make specific wines. Because no money is wasted on marketing or agents or all the usual claptrap, the wine maker gets his money and Naked Angels get a great bargain. Happiness all round.
  • So we put six of the best of them in a taster pack. And they are lovely.

  • We've waited a long time to find you the right American winemaker. And we thought multi award winning winemaker, Stephen, would do the trick! The result, when we asked him to make us something in his spare time, was top notch wines at a bargain price for the USA.
  • Leading the revolution for a new, modern style of wine, this New World chardonnay will have Chablis producers weeping with envy. Ultra clean and refreshingly crisp lemon flavours abound.
  • Grab yourself a fat tuna steak and go wild!

  • If you think this tastes like a Rioja, you'd be right. For the simple reason that it is a Rioja, except in name. All because the Spanish government like to keep Rioja supplies artificially low.
  • Which makes this wine the ultimate bargain. If this said 'Rioja' on the label it would cost you twice as much. Even though the juice inside would stay the same. Crazy, eh?
  • We know our customers are smart cookies. Which means this 'Rioja that isn't a Rioja and is half the price of a Rioja' will be shooting off the shelves. Best you get yourself some while you still can.

  • Stephen de Wet never lets us down. His Arabella red is a tour de force and this Sauvignon Blanc under the same label is suitably on par.
  • With its ripe crisp apples and slightly white peach quality, it's a total crowd pleaser, as attested by 91% of the nearly 14,000 that have tasted it so far. Can't say fairer than that.
  • If you're cracking out the smoked salmon or paying homage to a bit of shellfish, this is your bottle.

  • Pinot Grigio can be such a let down when in the wrong hands. Which is why it was so important for us to find someone who knew what they were doing - step forward Alessandro, our PG hero.
  • He's worked super hard on the blend, which means lots of those crisp clean apple and pear notes that are classic PG - but with a lovely soft bite to it that means it's almost TOO drinkable!
  • Whilst it's cracking on its own, don't be afraid to use it with food. It goes wonderfully with Jamie's classic fish pie recipe and is a no brainer with any kind of fishcake.
